TYPE 2506 |
The Primary winding is wound over the secondary winding of the CT and forms an integral part of the CT. These CTs are used to obtain better accuracies for ratios where the primary current is less than 100A such as 10/5,15/5,20/5 etc. Can be used in oily, dusty or corrosive atmospheres. These CTs are supplied complete with mounting clamps and cap for sealing secondary terminal. |

| PORTABLE PRECISION GRADE CTs |
TYPE 2508 |
These CTs are housed in wooden cases with bakelite insulated panel with appropriate terminals for primary & secondary. Arrangement for shorting the secondary terminals is also provided. The boxes are provided with carrying handles and rubber gromets. A central hole is provided (in some models) to extend the primary rating of the CTs. These are used in Laboratories and Test Benches as Standard CTs. CTs of other ratios can be made against request. |

These CTs are encased in ABS Plastic casing and are suitable for metering application. The central opening is rectangular in shape and hence can be slipped over bus bar easily. These CTs can be used in dusty atmospheres. They are supplied with cap for sealing the secondary. Mounting brackets are supplied. |
